Creating in the space between method and mystery
This booklet is an experimental graphic design project working with a cala lily as the muse. It plays with directionality and figure/ground.
I began with a hint of flowers, but with colors that look like they are decaying. Are we beginning, or completing? The large flower stem also signifies a journey ahead, and that there is more than meets the eye.
The back cover also plays on this theme of beginnings and endings. It’s the final page, but the message says otherwise.
